Agility Dogs

Years ago I used to compete in agility with my black standard poodle, Lily and my 1st toy poodle Daphne. Lily was a brilliant agility girl (Daphne would have done better if she had been heavy enough to tip the see saw and strong enough to push through the collapsable tunnel (which is an obsolete obstacle nowadays) and we managed to compete at a reasonably high standard.

Last year I finally started regular agility training with Cash, he's a lovely boy and we have great fun, hopefully he will be ready to compete later this year and although I don't expect him to achieve much (he is bouncy rather than driven) it will be great to be out there doing something with him.

Eliza started agility just 3 weeks ago, I am full of optimism for her potential, she is already demonstrating drive and hopefully this will increase as her confidence grows. Watch this space as they say :)

Chaos reigns!

It's starting to get pretty hectic here now, not only are the kittens mad as a box of frogs, but the puppies are now approaching 4 weeks old, and even though they are possibly the most laid back litter I have had (not so much competition as they are such a small litter), they have now reached the stage where they need a bit more room and are becoming more reliant on me and just slightly less reliant on Spirit. With that in mind they have now moved from the dining room to the lounge. Up until now the kittens have had this space to themselves, so we have had some hissy spitty kittens for a short while, but now they are just ignoring them.

The puppies had a brief visit to the garden earlier this week (much easier to get pics in natural light)

3rd time lucky?

For the 3rd time, through absolutely no fault of her own, my female black kitten is looking for a home. She is a lovely kitten and will make a wonderful pet. If you are seriously wanting a kitten (I really have had enough of people who let her down ) please give me a ring for a chat and maybe arrange a visit.
